Integrated inquiry is the approach that WPS uses to teach Social Sciences, Science, Technology, The Arts and Health.

The inquiry approach allows students’ to drive their learning through being curious about the world in which they live in.

Encouraging connection, cooperation, and collaboration by allowing our students to pose and solve problems together along with their peers is done within a shared and authentic context. Students are given opportunities to actively investigate questions, issues and ideas about the “way in which the world works.” This approach provides rich and strategic learning experiences where constructive understanding occurs.

Our teachers make deliberate efforts to integrate relevant knowledge, skills, strategies and competencies. Through integrated inquiry students at WPS learn in a variety of ways in authentic contexts to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their world.
